Arbonne Rocks for personal development

Did you enjoy those sunny days of July - I certainly did! We had some holiday days away at the beginning of the month and it gave me a great opportunity to listen to the Arbonne "Learn and Burns". First off, I LOVE that name - don't you? Basically what happens is I go onto the Arbonne website (and you can too if you joined with a membership of $35), and there are 100's of learning resources available to me that I can download and either listen to on my iPod or burn to a CD to listen to in my car.

If you don't already know much about me and who I am, my original business 24 Carrot Learning promotes personal growth and professional development. Someone told me at the beginning of this that Arbonne was a personal development company disguished as a skincare company and I thought...we'll see, I already have a PD company. After one month I have a story to tell you.

While I was in Bellingham as part of our holidays, I was telling someone about Arbonne and the positive experience that I have had with the company - she mentioned that she didn't think that she could do something like this because she didn't like to 'sell' or 'put herself out there'. What I have learned about Arbonne is that it is such a great company for not only professional development as it relates to the products we share with our friends and family (and their friends and family) but it is huge for personal development as well. In fact, I said "it would be worth it for someone to pay the $35 per year consultant fee so that they could just take part in the personal development offered through the Learn & Burns and the Arbonne University. Some of the workshops and teleconferences I have listened to lately include "Managing Momentum" and "Stumbling Blocks and How to Overcome Them" I'll talk about what I've learned in these newsletters and make some reading recommendations for you but honestly, the $35 membership give you at 35% discount on products but the PD is worth even more than that!
